BiographyChristina Milian ( MIL-ee-AHN; née Flores, born September 26, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey and raised in Maryland, she made her recording debut on American rapper Ja Rule's 2000 single, "Between Me and You", which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and led her to sign with Def Soul—a now-defunct branch of Def Jam Recordings—that same year.

She was then transferred to Island Records, through which she released her self-titled debut studio album (2002). Despite failing to chart domestically, it moderately entered international charts and was led by the Billboard Hot 100-top 40 single "AM to PM". Also in 2002, she was enlisted to perform "Call Me, Beep Me!", the theme song for the Disney Channel animated series Kim Possible. Her second album, It's About Time (2004), spawned the single "Dip It Low" (featuring Fabolous), which peaked at number five of the chart, as well as "Whatever U Want" (featuring Joe Budden). Her third album, So Amazin' (2004), was met with similar success and yielded the top 40 single, "Say I" (featuring Jeezy). She parted ways with Island following its release. Each song peaked within the top ten of the UK Singles Chart.

Milian first starred in in the 2003 film Love Don't Cost a Thing, and had lead roles in the films Be Cool and Pulse. Milian had a minor role in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and starred as the lead role in the straight-to-DVD film Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. Milian has also starred in the 2010 ABC Family Original Movie Christmas Cupid, alongside Ashley Benson and Chad Michael Murray. From 2015 to 2016, she starred in the sitcom Grandfathered. She is an entrepreneur and co-founded and co-owns Beignet Box, a dessert shop in the Los Angeles area.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards

Wild Cards follows the unlikely duo of a gruff, sardonic cop and a spirited, clever con woman. Ellis, a demoted detective, has unfortunately spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max has been living a transient life elaborately scamming everyone she meets. But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
