With their deadline fast approaching, licensed contractor John DeSilvia steps into to show the couple how to conserve the last bit of their renovation budget while creating the perfect kitchen. This couple plans to extend their existing kitchen and furnish it with new appliances and cabinets. Will they complete their home additions and renovations in time for their 2 year mark?
This Old House
Empty nesters Hans and Priscilla built their home from the ground up 25 years ago. With the kids gone and retirement on the horizon, they decided to downsize and get their house ready for re-sale. There's just one project left - their master suite that lacks style and organization. They plan to build a dormer which will give them extra space for a larger bathroom and closet. Can Licensed contractor John DeSilvia help them move into retirement 10,000 bucks richer?
Making Room for Baby
Victor and Carolina are newlyweds, but with 3 dogs and a new baby on the way, they soon realized their tiny cottage with 6 foot ceilings and 700 square feet just wouldn't work. Instead of moving, they decided to what else - rip off their roof and double their living space by adding a new 2nd floor. Under the direction of licensed contractor John DeSilvia, the couple finishes their 2nd floor, a brand new deck..and even a special project for their new baby. Homeowners Greg and Allison Wasserman are excited to leave the city and move into their first home to raise their kids. It just happens to be the home that Allison grew up in. Between Sandor's work schedule and Hakkyung taking care of their two little ones, they'll have to hustle every free moment they have to get their new basement gym, bathroom and living area done.
