Episode 17

Jin Jiajun finished the game sparring, dragged his tired body back home, and received 3,000 yuan from Brother Zhang. Brother Zhang is optimistic about Jin Jiajun and promises to pay all wages after the sparring. Chen Jiajia sent a video to Jin Jiajun. Jin Jiajun connected to the video with a sleepy look on his face. The game sparring took more than ten hours of work, and the machine could not stand it and would be tired. Jin Jiajun did not tell Chen Jiajia the truth, but lied that he had just finished running and was exhausted. Chen Zhuo had nothing to do at night, pretended to have nothing to do, chatted with his daughter Chen Jiajia, and inquired about Jin Jiajun's father and son. He learned that Jin Jiajun's father used to live in a hotel, but later thought the hotel was too expensive, so he wanted to find a house to rent. Jin Jiajun went to school for class, because it was too distracting to do a part-time job, Jin Jiajun couldn't help dozing off, and was called by the teacher. The teacher specifically mentioned that Jin Jiajun was admitted to Tsinghua University. Might be famous again. Liu Xiaomin slept in a daze at night, when the community security suddenly called. Jin Bo slept in front of Liu Xiaomin's house, scaring the neighbors who passed by. Liu Xiaomin got out of bed and opened the door with a sleepy look on her face. Instead of scolding Jin Bo in person, she told the security guard that she would solve the problem of Jin Bo sleeping by herself. After the security guard left, Jin Bo dragged his suitcase into Liu Xiaomin's house. Liu Xiaomin scolded Jin Bo for not staying in the hotel, so she booked a hotel for Jin Bo for a week with her own pocket. Jin Bo had already stayed at the hotel for a week and had nowhere to stay, so he could only bite the bullet and go to Liu Xiaomin. Liu Xiaomin decided to let Jin Bo sleep on the living room sofa, but Jin Jiajun disapproved because it was inconvenient for her mother to get up early the next day. Jin Jiajun led his father back to the room and let his father sit next to him, while he went back to the computer and continued to do sparring. Jin Bo sat next to him and wanted to accompany Jin Jiajun to work, but he surrendered to Sleepy after a while and gradually fell into sleep. Li Ping went to the hospital for a pregnancy test. After the pregnancy test, she and Liu Xiaomin went to do skin care. Li Ping admitted frankly that she is not as good-looking as Liu Xiaomin. No matter how she dresses, she is always compared by Liu Xiaomin. Liu Xiaomin is a natural clothes hanger and looks good in everything she wears. Liu Xiaomin thinks that he is not as good as Li Ping. For example, when he was a child, he was introverted and unsuitable, and he couldn't play with his friends. Li Ping, on the contrary, had a lively personality when she was a child and got along well with her friends. Jin Jiajun transferred the 3,000 yuan he earned to his father, Jin Bo. Only then did Jin Bo realize that playing game sparring was very profitable. Although he was short of money, he couldn't bear to spend his son Jin Jiajun's money, but his son Jin Jiajun had to transfer the money to him. Jin Bo cooks and cooks while Liu Xiaomin is not at home. When Liu Xiaomin came back, he was shocked and angry and asked Jin Bo why he didn't leave. Jin Bo is as thick-skinned as a city wall, and proposes to be interrogated by Liu Xiaomin after dinner. Liu Xiaomin had no appetite to eat, and suspected that Jin Borai had a reason for not leaving at home. Jin Bo sighed and revealed that he was in debt and could only avoid the limelight at Liu Xiaomin's house. Liu Xiaomin asked Jin Bo how much money he owed. Jin Bo was a little embarrassed and remained silent.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards follows the unlikely duo of a gruff, sardonic cop and a spirited, clever con woman. Ellis, a demoted detective, has unfortunately spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max has been living a transient life elaborately scamming everyone she meets. But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
