MUK discovers that the Memoir is just a fake copy and gets furious. ANN passes the real Memoir on to POON and urges him to give it to LUNG. She then breaks the bridge apart to prevent MUK from getting close. POON goes back home and finds ANN has been tortured almost to death. He is sad and angry. LUNG is so surprised to hear about ANN’s death when he returns to WOO’s house. POON goes to see MUK to seek revenge but is caught. LUNG gives away the Memoir and MUK releases POON. LUNG subdues MUK and makes him reveal the whereabouts of KATE and her son. MUK leads LUNG into the cellar, where KATE and JING have long been kept. JING is in fact a coward and LUNG gets so disappointed in him. MUK hurts JING and has successfully fled away. Before he goes, he sets fire to the cellar in order to kill LUNG, KATE and JING. KATE is not at all scared. The three of them can finally get out of the cellar but JING dies later on.… ...
