Calum Iain has never been happier as he puts the brand new top-of-the-range Jaguar XJ Supercharged V8 Supersport through its paces. Murray investigates a cheaper alternative to the regular diesel you buy at the pumps, while Fiona meets an island man who, for the past five years, has been running his van on fuel which he makes himself for just 20p a litre! Over the past decade, the UK has gone from being one of the most expensive places in Europe to buy a new car to one of the cheapest. Murray searches out the best deals and comes up with the two cheapest new cars available in Scotland. He calls in Louise's help to put them through their paces. Episode 5

There's a retro feel to this episode when we meet up with the Western Isles Classic Car Club. Tensions are frayed when Fiona and Murray get lost on Lewis on the club's 10th anniversary Treasure Hunt. They discover that you don't have to be driving the fastest car to win this 'tortoise and the hare' style race. At a motor event with a difference, Louise meets the audiophiles who spend much more on their car stereos than they do on their cars. Murray lowers the roof on the new convertible Fiat 500 Pop. At first he's convinced it's been designed with the female driver in mind, so he decides to find out if it's just as much fun to drive for blokes like him. Also, there's more chaos in this programme's Wacky Races as our presenters race towards the chequered flag.

Fiona is on Harris where she drives a VW Beetle which can outrun a Porche 911. When she meets the man who built the car's super charged engine, she's in for a big surprise. He turns out to be the ex drummer of one of her favourite punk rock bands, the Buzzcocks. And somehow, Fiona also finds the time to put the stunningly good-looking Ferrari F430 F1 Spyder to the test...nice work if you can get it!
