Season 1
Murder House
American Horror Story: Murder House centers on the Harmon family: Ben, Vivien and their daughter Violet, who move from Boston to Los Angeles after Vivien has a stillbirth and Ben has an affair. They move into a restored mansion, unaware that the home is haunted by its former inhabitants.
Season 2
Asylum
American Horror Story: Asylum begins in 1964 at the Briarcliff Mental Institution, following the stories of the patients, doctors and nuns who occupy it, and intercuts with events in the past and present.
Season 3
Coven
American Horror Story: Coven centers on a coven of witches with individual powers who reside in Miss Robichaux's Academy, an academy of witchcraft where young witches are automatically enrolled once their powers have been uncovered. It is here that they are taught the history of their kind and how to control their abilities.
Season 4
Freak Show
American Horror Story: Freak Show is set in 1952 Jupiter, Florida, telling the story of one of the last remaining freak shows in America, and their struggle for survival. This is the first season of the series that is not strictly anthological, with characters appearing from the series' second cycle, American Horror Story: Asylum.
Season 5
Hotel
American Horror Story: Hotel centers around the enigmatic Hotel Cortez in Los Angeles, California, that catches the eye of an intrepid homicide detective. The Cortez is host to the strange and bizarre, spearheaded by its owner, The Countess, who is a bloodsucking fashionista. This season features two murderous threats in the form of The Ten Commandments Killer, a serial offender that justifies his actions in accordance with biblical teachings; and The Addiction Demon, who roams the hotel, armed with a drill bit dildo.
Season 6
Roanoke
Hoping to rid themselves of the problems that come with city life, Los Angeles couple Matt and Shelby Miller move to Roanoke Island, N.C. It is when they move there, however, that their biggest problems begin, including Matt being hospitalized after an assault and Shelby having a miscarriage. And as they settle into their new home, they start to experience strange paranormal occurrences, which are told through re-enactments.
Season 7
Cult
The fictional city of Brookfield Heights, Michigan is left divided by the 2016 U.S. presidential election and follows a community torn apart by a dangerous cult leader who uses fear as a weapon. Local restaurant owner Ally Mayfair-Richards is utterly distraught by Donald Trump's victory and several of her longstanding phobias, including coulrophobia, hemophobia, and trypophobia, intensify as a result.
Season 8
Apocalypse
After the nuclear apocalypse, the world's chosen elite survive in secure Outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative. On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable and Ms. Miriam Mead run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon, a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. However, underneath the surface of humanity's salvation lies a battlefield for the final conflict between good and evil.

In the summer of 1984, five friends escape Los Angeles to work as counselors at Camp Redwood. As they adjust to their new jobs, they quickly learn that the only thing scarier than campfire tales is the past coming to haunt you.

In American Horror Story: Double Feature a struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter. Once they're settled in, the town's true residents begin to make themselves known.

In American Horror Story: NYC, mysterious deaths and disappearances ramp up in the city. Meanwhile, a doctor makes a frightening discovery, and a local reporter becomes tomorrow's headline.
