American Song Contest - Season 1

The all-live music competition series kicks off with hosts Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson; the first 11 artists, representing their state or territory, perform original songs and compete to win America's vote for best hit song.

The qualifiers continue with the reveal of which three acts from the Qualifiers Premiere are moving on to the Semi-Finals. The next batch of 11 artists take the stage with original music to compete to win the country's vote for best hit song. 

In week 3 of the qualifiers, three artists from week 2 are revealed as advancing to the Semi-Finals. Twelve artists from across the country perform an original song to earn America's vote.

The live qualifiers conclude as three artists from week 4 are revealed as moving on to the Semi-Finals. Eleven remaining artists representing their state or territory perform original music to earn America's vote for best hit song.  

The live Semi-Finals begin with 10 artists returning to the stage with an elevated performance of their original song for a chance to earn America's vote. To make the stakes higher, a redemption song is revealed, adding an 11th artist back into the competition.

In the star-studded Grand Final, the top 10 artists perform one last time for their chance to win America's vote for best hit song. The national jury and public voting happen in real time to determine the winning song. Celebrity guests perform and assist with announcing results.
