America's Most Desperate Kitchens - Season 2

Season 2

Episodes

Retro Mod Kitchen and Bar
John and Anthony transform a tiny galley kitchen into a massive entertaining space as the wall comes down to join the living room, and the dining area becomes a bar. A huge island centers the space with a built-in range and bar seating. The cousins add custom touches to the space, including a metal pantry door and hexagon tile that runs from the backsplash to the floor.

Rustic Chef's Kitchen
The cousins give a dated Atlanta kitchen a modern industrial facelift fit for a professional chef with a professional grade range, a massive movable island and two-tone cabinetry. They top off the design with framing studs from a 1920s Atlanta home and old barn wood, which become storage baskets and a custom dining table.

Urban Farmhouse Kitchen
John and Anthony keep it local by sourcing reclaimed wood and tile from around town for this kitchen. They replace dated cabinets with white Shaker-paneled cabinetry for a rustic, farmhouse look paired with a vinyl floor and red toile tile.

Jersey Farmhouse Kitchen
John and Anthony head to Lafayatte in their home state of New Jersey to update a 100-year-old farmhouse kitchen. They create a stunning design that combines both modern and rustic elements and blend seamlessly into the character of the home.

Carmichael Kitchen Reboot
John and Anthony head to Carmichael, CA, to help a young couple with a truly desperate kitchen. They spend four days creating a stunning floor-to-ceiling remodel anchored by an open-concept floor plan, multi-level island and glass-enclosed wine rack.

French Country Kitchen
A pilot and flight attendant's 1980s kitchen is brought up-to-date with a French country feel. John and Anthony remove a load-bearing wall to open up the space for wall-to-wall cream cabinetry, and add a custom surround hood and armoire fridge cabinet to keep the stainless steel hidden. The cousins bring the design together with an airline themed bar cart.
