America's Top Dog - Season 2
Season 2
Season two introduces a new format with head-to-head match ups, pitting a pup against another competitor in their class across working dogs, police K9s and "underdogs," for an epic battle to prove who is best. The winners of each of the three classes face-off head-to-head to determine who is that week's Top Dog. Each week, the winning team will receive a $10,000 cash prize as well as an additional $5,000 to donate to the animal charity of their choice. In the final week of competition, the winning teams return for the ultimate face off for the title of America's Top Dog and an additional $25,000.
Episodes
Premiere Pooches
It's a brand new season of America's Top Dog with new dog breeds, new courses, and new head-to-head matchups in the first round! A Hollywood superstar pup takes on a bird hunter. A talented pitbull goes up against a punk rock border poo. And two K9s named after movie villains face off.
Cute But Means Business
Small dogs take over America's Top Dog when a 17-pound Underdog takes on a protective Czech shepherd, two K9s from the same department duke it out, and a therapy dog goes against the smallest dog of the season. In the Doghouse, one dog gets disqualified for the first time in Top Dog history.
Pulling a Fast One
A speedy pitbull takes on a Belgian Malinois that trains K9s. A rebellious schnauzer goes up against a brainy border collie. And a grill-sporting K9 challenges a friendly female K9. Even though Underdog, Working dog and K9 enter the Doghouse, only one will leave Top Dog and head to the finale.
Beauty, Brains and Bark
The competition is coming to a boil with head to head heats that put everything to the test. A female K9 aims to dominate her male opponent, three Belgian Malinois give their handlers a workout, and an old contender shows up to prove that age ain't nothing but a number.
Tricks, Trials and Takedowns
In a series of head to head matchups, an Ibizan Hound won't get tied up by the rules, a fearless K9 unleashes his inner Avenger, and a detective working dog is determined to have the last bite. It's an emotional ride all the way to the last Takedown.
The Tall, the Brave and the Engaged
A frisbee-catching pro takes on a resilient demo dog. A female K9 goes up against the tallest dog of the season. And an engaged couple compete against each other with their sibling terriers. Only one dog will be declared Top Dog and move on to the finale.
The Comeback Dogs
Second place left them hungry for a win, so these top notch competitors are back to battle it out for the last remaining spot in the season's grand finale. It's working dogs versus underdogs, competing for one last chance to be America's Top Dog.
Title Match To Top Them All
It's a battle between the best of the best when the season's seven winning teams face off in the final showdown. They'll lay it all on the line for the bragging rights, the $20,000 prize, and, of course, the ultimate title of America's Top Dog.
