Alison has become a new mother and is ready to divorce David amicably, but things go awry when his old flame Elaine reappears. Meanwhile, Alison has decided not to talk to Virginia and Meagan who are planning to marry and are currently living together.
Episode 2
Alison responds to David's demands for half her money by kicking him out of the house and getting gardener Nick Bottomley to change all the locks. She adds insult to injury by repossessing his treasured Porsche for good measure, while Virginia begins to question the wisdom of a long-term relationship with Megan.
Episode 3
David and Alison decide to have one last go at resolving the divorce out of court, while as her wedding day dawns, Megan discovers what Virginia's been up to with old flame Tamsin. As the guests arrive, Alison realises one of the bridesmaids is missing - and Nick the gardener springs a surprise as well.
Episode 4
Alison is forced to sell the mansion and suffers the added indignity of having to tell Nick she's moving out and can no longer afford to employ him. Sarah tries to sabotage Phil's impending marriage to Ciara, while Megan ends her relationship with Virginia and wastes no time in embarking on an amorous liaison with David : which proves to have fatal consequences.
Episode 5
Virginia tries to cope with Megan's death, while Alison not only finds herself accused of murder, but suffers the added indignity of seeing her relationship with Nick splashed all over the tabloids. Sarah shares a passionate moment with ex-husband Phil, while Charlotte asks boyfriend Jordan to help her lose £38million
Episode 6
Charlotte's larcenous plan goes wrong and Virginia shocks everyone with a new look. On the romantic front, Sarah confronts her feelings for Phil as his wedding to Ciara goes ahead, and Alison agonises over whether to seek happiness with hunky gardener Nick, next-door neighbour Mike or husband David.
