Expect more fireworks in the women's sprint events as Jamaica's trio of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson-Herah and Shericka Jackson look to fight off the challenge of Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith. World and Commonwealth Games silver medallist Keely Hodgkinson will also be aiming to defend the title she won here last season over 800m.
For the men, the likes of American 100m world champion Fred Kerley and his compatriot Noah Lyles – the fastest man in the world this year over 200m – seek to claim more silverware over their respective distances.
