Great Edinburgh Cross Country
Gabby Logan presents live coverage from the scenic surroundings of Holyrood Park. In the shadow of Arthur's Seat, the annual curtain raiser to the athletics calendar sees teams from Great Britain, Europe and the USA go head to head in senior and junior races. Many of the British team that topped the medal table at the recent European Cross Country Championships in Slovakia are involved, alongside former European track silver medallist Andy Vernon. Double European indoor champion Laura Muir competes in the ever-popular mixed team relay event in which the Home Nations, Europe and USA race against each other over four 1km laps. Steve Cram is joined by Paula Radcliffe in the commentary box.
