Avsnitt 1
Bäckström is first on the scene after the celebrity lawyer Tomas Eriksson is murdered. The police cannot initially rule out that Bäckström himself is the killer. Eriksson was his nemesis. At the same time, new information about the victim's love life is revealed.
Avsnitt 2
Eriksson's murder seems to be intractable, not least when Bäckström is suspended from the investigation and Ankan is forced to take the helm. Bäckström begins to dig into the beating of the baron Von Comer and it soon turns out that the two cases are connected.
Avsnitt 3
An old Russian music box made of gold, depicting the fairy tale character Pinocchio worth around SEK 300 million, seems to be the motive for the murders. Bäckström is trying to map the game owner's former owner in the hope of being able to seize the treasure himself.
Avsnitt 4
Ankan begins to question Bäckström's honesty. Eriksson turns out to have carried a big secret and now light has just been shed on the night of the murder. At the same time, Olsson risks ruining the entire investigation in a desperate attempt to impress Ankan.
Avsnitt 5
Bäckström receives death threats and it seems that Tina is the only one who can help him. The police, led by Ankan and Olsson, are spying on Bäckström's best friend in the hope of leading the investigation forward. At the same time, G Gurra begins to act suspiciously.
Avsnitt 6
End of season. Bäckström realizes that he must hand over Pinocchio to the Russians. The only problem is that he does not know where the music box is. The duck finally sees through Bäckström's lies and their relationship is put to the test. Can they still solve the case?
