Wu Mei's sudden indifference towards Wu Di made him puzzled. Wu Mei, on the other hand, was very upset about Wu Di's reply that she seemed to escape at Lin Xia's house the night before, and resolutely left with Wu Wei, which made Wu Di jealous. Wu Di invited Xiaomeng to the old place and told Xiaomeng that he already knew that Cheng Feng liked Shen Bing. Xiaomeng persuades Wu Di not to worry about Wu Wei, and boldly pursues the "beautiful boss". Depressed, Wu Di went to the drive-in theater to watch a movie alone, and found that Wu Wei and Wu Mei were there. Just as Wu Di was about to sneak away, Wu Wei found out, and Wu Wei asked his younger brother to make a "man's choice". Wu Mei was moved by Wu Di's confession, and Wu Di also welcomed her elder brother's declaration of war against her. Just as Cheng Feng got off the train in Yunnan, his wallet was stolen, but the police mistook him for a thief and took him into police custody. Cheng Feng had no choice but to call Wu Di who was far away in Beijing for help, so Wu Di had to leave his work and go to Yunnan. Cheng Feng took Wu Di to look for the lost Shen Bing. Shao Huayang pretended to be Lin Xia's boyfriend and went to her house for dinner, and brought expensive gifts to Lin Xia's parents.
