In de derde aflevering, Everts en zoon, blikken we terug op de carrières van Harry en Stefan Everts: samen goed voor 14 wereldtitels én een soms tumultueuze vader-zoon-relatie. Veel meer wereldtitels zal een Vlaams gezin niet in zijn bezit hebben dan vader en zoon Everts: Harry wordt vier keer wereldkampioen motorcross, Stefan liefst tien keer. Maar niemand kan beweren dat ze het op dezelfde manier hebben gedaan. Harry is de kampioen van de wilskracht. Met een aangeboren klompvoet is hij niet voor topsport voorbestemd, maar hij zet door: hij traint zich de pleuris, hij geeft nooit op. Als anderen zich laten uitbollen, draait hij het gas nog eens helemaal open. Ondanks zijn handicap bouwt Harry een fenomenale erelijst op. En als zijn zoon hetzelfde wil bereiken, zal hij ook dezelfde lange weg moeten bewandelen van Spartaanse trainingsijver en ijzeren discipline. Maar Stefan is Harry niet. Stefan is een flyer – een kampioen van nature.
