Matthew Plumb lives in his van in a forest near Abergavenny. By day he is a professional tree surgeon, but his true passion is poetry. He spends his days up in the canopy of the trees pondering and rhyming and is working on a new composition for an open mic night in Hay-on-Wye. Matthew and his girlfriend Rhiannon visit his biggest critic, mum Jenny, on their way to his big performance - but can he deliver on his poetic promises?
