Game of Love
While Megan is in Colorado catching up with her business, her friends in Los Angeles are wrapped up in the excitement of the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County's red carpet ball. Steven struggles to find a date for the ball until Elena indicates interest, but because she is supposed to go to the ball with John, things get complicated for everyone.
Vegas, Baby!
Sean sets off on a road trip to Las Vegas to see Justin Bieber perform and go on his first blind date. It is John's 29th birthday and his mother announces he has one year to make his music career turn a profit or he'll have to get a real job--a challenge that kicks him into overdrive. Back in Colorado, Megan tells her mom that Down syndrome will not prevent her from living the independent life she wants in California--and that she wants to go back without her mom.
Breaking Away
Megan, Rachel and Elena head to Trinidad with their moms for an international Down syndrome conference when real life intrudes in dramatic and potentially life-altering ways. Sean takes off on a parent-free road trip to Las Vegas to see his idol, Justin Bieber. And Cristina will not let her disability keep her from realizing a life-long dream.
Rites of Passage
While attending a Down syndrome conference in Trinidad, a health scare forces Megan to reassess her plan to move to California without her mother. Encouraged by his beautiful blind date, Sean defies his parents and goes in search of a tattoo parlor. An engagement ring can't keep Cristina from developing a crush on her hunky dance instructor.
Bachelor Pad
The dads reveal their plans for Steven and Sean to be roommates. Sean is adamant that he doesn't want a roommate until he finds he can't afford his dream house on his own. John tries out a new song he hasn't quite mastered at a fundraiser. Megan comes to LA for a job interview at Best Buddies and makes plans for a future with her friends, independent of her mother.
Great Expectations
Megan secures a job in LA and, when Brendan doesn't want to discuss marriage and babies, her decision to move to Los Angeles becomes easier. In a farewell lunch with her Dad she asks some hard questions. Cristina's jealousy and controlling behavior spins out of control, causing concern among her friends. Rachel, Bea and Mariano try to intervene.
Reality Check
Megan celebrates her move to LA with her friends but quickly discovers LA's not all glamour when you have a job. Rachel learns she is pre-diabetic and that unless she makes lifestyle changes, her future is not bright. Steven and Sean throw a costumed housewarming party in their new home. Things begin to unravel as crushes and misunderstood feelings abound.
Rough Waters
Despite her fears, Rachel joins her friends as they embark on an epic camping trip to Kern River where White Water Rafting is on the menu. While Cristina struggles to enjoy camping independent of Angel, he plans a romantic surprise for her return. Megan and Steven find they have more in common than they realized.
Dream Come True
John heads to Atlanta for an opportunity to take his music to the next level. The day of the Emerald Ball arrives and it is make or break time for Cristina. Brendan visits Megan in LA but she finds her feelings toward him are changing.
Oh Baby!
Megan learns the hard way that taking care of a baby is not anything like she imagined it would be. Rachel finds romance on the road to fitness. Steven finally faces up to his feelings about Megan.
