Fried Chicken

Five of the nation's top takeaways wing their way into Manchester to cook up finger-licking fabulous fried chicken dishes.
Competing tonight from Killa Waffles from London are married couple Alex and husband Martin, a former Olympian, who serve their fried chicken in waffles. Former nightclub DJ Mark and head chef Helio run Shwings in Chelmsford. Nashville chicken-loving pals Dan and Luke run Eat the Bird in Exeter. Childhood sweethearts Charlotte and Frank own Leicester's first vegan fried chicken shop, and finally ‘king of the wings' Chris and Lilly run the award-winning Chicken George in Hitchin.
Judging the fried chicken and deciding who wins will be a host of takeaway-loving families who will eat, rate and score the food from the comfort of their dining table or sofa, alongside guest judges Manchester Village Spartans Rugby Club.
But who will the families decide is their top fried chicken takeaway?
