In Seattle, the team take delivery of the airline's 30th Boeing 787 Dreamliner. In Vienna, a new onboard menu is tested on passengers. In Osaka, there are 24 hours until the inaugural flight from Heathrow touches down.
Episode 2
How the airline is attempting to win back the premier market by introducing a new First Class service, following the cabin crew who embark on an intensive training course to learn how to deliver five-star luxury at 40,000ft. At the airline's state-of-the-art engineering base in Wales, the team must completely strip down and refit the interior of one of Boeing's most popular jets, the 777 - and they have only 30 days to do it. Meanwhile, the airline waves goodbye to an old friend as the 767 takes its final flight, bowing out after 30 years of service with BA.
Episode 3
Aircraft dispatch manager Sally-Anne reveals just what it takes to get a fully loaded plane off the tarmac in just four hours. From the second its wheels hit the ground, the ground staff must clean, refuel and reload the aircraft before sending it flies off again. Meanwhile, a crack team of engineers have just one 12-hour night shift to get a hangar full of faulty aircraft ready for service in the morning.

At BA's factory in Toulouse, Richard Mee is responsible for the airline's first Airbus A350, overseeing everything from construction to sign-off. But is the new plane in for a bumpy landing? Meanwhile, elite pilots are being put through their paces in a new simulator and at BA headquarters, the staff prepare for a royal visit to commemorate the company's centenary.

Geordie's plain-speaking, down to earth approach to policing complemented Sidney's more gentle technique of coaxing information from witnesses and suspects. Their unlikely pairing became a true friendship as each offered a different insight into the crimes they unravelled.

Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
