Introduction
Forty years ago this spring, Britain's governing party was caught up in a leadership election after Labour prime minister Harold Wilson's shock announcement that he was stepping down. Six cabinet ministers vied to replace Wilson, with foreign secretary Jim Callaghan emerging as victor after three rounds of voting, on 5 April 1976. To mark the anniversary, James Naughtie presents an evening of BBC archive programmes looking back at the political career of Jim Callaghan.

In March 1977, the Labour government, left with no overall majority following a by-election defeat, faced a motion of no confidence. In order to remain in office, James Callaghan approached the Liberal Party under the leadership of David Steel and the agreement they reached was known as the Lib-Lab pact. BBC current affairs programme Tonight looked at the deal. From March 1977.

With roadside diners, vintage drive-ins and out-of-the-way "dives" enjoying a resurgence of hipness among foodies, host Guy Fieri travels across America in search of some of the best "greasy spoon" eateries. The restaurants that Guy visits are usually well-known among locals and other people in the region. While at each location, Fieri talks to the staff as well as the customers to get their thoughts on the food. Many episodes feature eateries that are connected by a common thread, such as burgers or comfort foods but its all here on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

The Au Pair
The Au Pair follows a woman who seems to have it all—a successful husband, adorable stepchildren, a thriving business and a gorgeous home. When her diabetic father moves in next door and she begins to experience marital issues, however, she reluctantly agrees to hire an au pair. A beguiling young French woman takes the job and causes an unsettling shift in the household.
As instincts and suspicions arise, hidden agendas are hinted at and long-concealed truths are unveiled.
