The Second Stage of the U20 Championship, a battle royale where the objective is to race to the top of the castle. Taiyou encounters Verno from Team Diffrider, and the harsh rule of this stage is that players that lose can no longer participate.

Tokoha`s opponent is none other than Saori of Team Diffrider, who participated in place of Miguel. To live up to Miguel`s expectations, Tokoha renews her determination in her fight against Saori, but Saori denies her determination, and mocks Miguel`s death.

Onimaru is merciless against Rummy Labyrinth and Kumi, and makes a fool of their "enjoyable fight". Defending their fight as a knight, Enishi makes his move on the "power of taboo"of Onimaru`s Nubatama.

Saori is frustrated at the discomfort of the fight with Tokoha. Chrono clashes with all his might against Saori, who behaves conspicuously as a unit, and looks down on fights against humans as "games".

As the fight between Chrono and Saori unfolds, Kazuma gets a rematch with Onimaru. Kazuma tries his best in the fated fight between brothers, but the Onimaru in front of his eyes is no longer the "brother" from that day.

Regaining his freedom, Shion challenges Chrono at his best. The two of them fought with all they have, like the way they fought when they first met. The heat from their fight fascinates all the fighters at the stage…!

Second Stage ends, but only 3 teams can proceed. A repechage has been confirmed, but before that, Chrono and Ibuki tell the others about the Diffriders at an island in the south…

The repechage between Rummy Labyrinth with Saya and Jaime Flowers. Knowing the truth of the Diffriders, Tokoha composes herself and reaches for the ticket to the Final Stage with a fight against Saya.

Chrono and Taiyou reflect upon the past battles and head towards the Final Stage. Together with Kazuma, the Striders steel their resolves for the final battle.

Rin and Henri aims to win regardless of Diffriders being their opponents. Rin`s fighting spirit reaches Verno, but Henri`s fight with Saori is...

Hayao and Shion are utterly defeated by Saori and Onimaru. Shion, who overcomes any and all adversities, and Kazumi, who wishes to rebel against his fate. The fight between these two against their destinies are fiercer than ever.

The second fight of the deciding match between Striders and Jaime Flowers. Kumi, with her appreciation towards her companions, and Taiyou, with his emotions for Vanguard, are pushed to their limits.

Another face off between members of TRY3! Chrono and Tokoha renew their determination and battle against each other. With the ticket to the finals on the line, it`s an all-out exchange of blows.

Kazuma suggests a special training to steel their resolutions and is invited by Chrono and Taiyou deep into the mountains. The one that they meet is none other than the strongest Shadow Paladin fighter, Yuichirou Kanzaki.

Verno challenges Tokoha to a fight on the day before the finals of the U20 Championship. During the fight where their ideals clash, Verno finds out about the identity and objective of Kazumi.

The first match of the finals of U20 Championship has Taiyou VS Verno. Can Taiyou overcome Verno`s radiance with all his might in his final fight for Earth?

During the semifinal match, Saori fights with complete hatred akin to an intent to kill. Overcoming the unfeeling wall of smouldering flames, the dragon`s "awakening" is achieved for the world it seeks.

Kazumi and Kazuma look back upon their forgotten childhood memories during the fight. Kazuma bets everything on the final hit to save his brother and overcome the past.

It`s the final match of the U20 Championship! With the wishes entrusted upon him, Chrono envisions the memories of Shiranui, who is possessing Kazumi`s body.

To grab hold of the future, and show Kazumi the Vanguard he believes in, the fight where Chrono puts his all unfolds. The answer that Shiranui receives at the end of that fight is...

The U20 Championship concludes, with Chrono and gang returning to their daily routine. However, Shiranui left behind the memories of the "master" within Kazumi.
