Season 1

Episodes

Sweet Carolina Cravings
Anthony Anderson heads to the Got to Be NC Festival in Raleigh, N.C. for some Southern-fried carnival goodness. He tickles his taste buds with everything from redneck egg rolls to the most intense bacon-wrapped deep-fried dessert this side of the Mississippi. After his belly has settled, he tries his hand at the lumberjack competition and bets the farm at the pig races.

Ooey-Gooey Golden State
Anthony Anderson is in Sacramento, Calif. for the county fair, where he finds cowboys aplenty and enough carnival treats to feed the whole Golden State. He dives into the deep end of carnival food with a burger with a "cheese skirt" and a bacon-topped cinnamon roll sundae. In between bites, he learns how to milk a cow and rides the most daring ride at the midway.

Deep Fried Rockies
Anthony Anderson heads to heart of the Rockies for some mountain-sized carnival fun at Parker Days in Parker, Colo. The carnival eats he finds are no small feat — massive 24-pound beef ribs and a deep-fried root beer float. And after he beefs up on calories, Anthony goes head-to-head with the strongest men in the world and gets down and dirty in a sumo battle.

Bacon Wrapped Heartland
Anthony Anderson eats his way through the heartland at Prairie Fest in Oswego, Ill., gobbling up everything from bacon-wrapped roasted corn to a twist on a local specialty, a Chicago crab dog. Then, it's an Anderson family reunion as Anthony runs into his Great Aunt Pearl and ropes her into his carnival culinary quest.

San Diego on a Stick
Anthony Anderson soaks up some So-Cal fun at the San Diego County Fair, where every carnival treat is straight out of the melting pot, like Thai chicken fry bread and a chile relleno cheeseburger. Before the sun sets, he has a little fun with some pint-sized locals who challenge him to a bubble gum-blowing contest.

Lobster Dogs and So-Cal Sundaes
Anthony Anderson meets up with 500,000 of his friends at the Alameda County Fair in California to chow down on crazy carnival eats like a mac and cheese-stuffed burger and a lobster dog. He also throws on his chef hat and defies the ice cream gods by forming ice cream into spaghetti and whipping up a spaghetti and meatball sundae.
