Episodes

Vegas or Bust!
Two mighty nations, Team U.K. and Team U.S. face off in the ultimate on the road culinary challenge: chefs must cook their way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with only their trusted chef knives and a few spices. Team U.K. goes to its roots, hosting a high tea in Los Angeles, but will anyone come? Meanwhile, Team U.S. boldly attempts to prepare a sushi dinner for a family in the bathroom of a Las Vegas hotel! The team that makes the most money will be the winning team.

Bison Battle
Team U.K. and Team U.S. are each given an incredible cooking tool in New Mexico: an entire bison - 400 pounds worth! The Brits have wild animal chefs on board who quickly rise to the occasion. But can the Americans overcome dissension within the ranks and agree upon a leader? Cody rises to the challenge, but not everyone likes him. The finish line is explosive!

Kill It, Cook It, Eat It
10,000 acres of Colorado wilderness becomes the kitchen for the chefs. Team U.K. and Team U.S. must hunt, fish and forage to make the meal of a lifetime for locals and the best meal will determine the winning team. The Brits are led by forager Mark who feels right at home. But some Brits have no clue about living off the land. Meanwhile, former Marine Ronaldo is a sharp shooter hunting prairie dogs and whips up a recipe for prairie dog stew. It's anyone's guess which team will satisfy the locals' cravings!

Foreign Exchange
The teams travel to the great western frontier town of Dodge City, Kansas. Tables are literally turned as the teams are challenged to each cook 6 classic dishes from each other's country. Can Team U.S. figure out what is a "Spotted Dick?" And, British chef, Carlo, who has lived in the states for years, becomes the secret weapon for Team U.K. He has mastered Louisiana gumbo!

Rolling Food Fight
The teams travel to Arkansas where they each receive a kitchen on wheels - a food truck! The undersized British team is allowed to pick an American chef to join their ranks, and Bianca proves herself to be a marketing gem for the Brits. Things become explosive for Team U.S. when Cody's attempt to lead fails. The teams face off at a Checkpoint by the Arkansas River cooking their best catfish dish. And, one chef collapses in the summer heat and is taken to the hospital!

Hot Sauce Hustle
In America's barbecue capital, Memphis, Tennessee, the teams create their own barbecue sauce from scratch and then take to the streets to sell 1,000 bottles. It's a big culinary and marketing challenge that pits Team U.K.'s "BAD ASS" sauce vs. Team U.S.' "UNCLE SAMMY'S" blend. The Americans strategy is all patriotic with their slogan, "It's un-American not to buy this sauce!" and they triumph with a big sell at a gourmet market. But the Brits' signature blend strikes gold with a motorcycle gang. The winning team is crowned at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.

Pizza to Go
Teams meet up in Springfield, Illinois at the historic home of Abraham Lincoln, where they each get a wood burning, mobile pizza oven. The Brits, selling pizza at a local softball game, are paid the ultimate compliment by Richard Corrigan who declares it's the best pizza he's ever tasted! But they fail to make it to the Checkpoint and the Americans make out like bandits with extra ingredients. In a thrilling race to the finish line in Chicago, one team is held up in traffic. Will they make it in time?

Hook, Line and Sinker
The two teams go cruising on Lake Erie to catch enough fish to prepare a fancy dinner for locals at a yacht club. Richard charges the chefs to cook a variety of fish dishes with different techniques. One American chef takes the prize for best dish with his ceviche. Later, at Detroit's historic Eastern Market, teams work furiously to sell their food against the ticking clock of the looming Finish Line. The winning team is the one with the biggest profit.

Trade Up or Die Tryin'
It's the penultimate leg of Chef Race and only four chefs remain - two Brits and two Americans. Starting in Bedford, Pennsylvania, with nothing but a sack of potatoes each, the teams are charged with "trading up" to acquire other ingredients for a cookoff at a trendy Baltimore, Maryland restaurant. The grand finale - New York City - and the $100,000 prize is literally just around the corner!

If You Can Make It Here...
It's New York City - arguably the culinary capital of the country and where the competition is cutthroat. The final 3 chefs have cooked their way across America on their cooking, trading and survival skills. Now, they have to do something that is very NYC centric - sell their own dishes from street carts - and the ingredients are from challenges along their coast to coast journey: bison, offal, goat meat and pigs' feet! The chef with the least profit will be sent packing. Then it's onto the ultimate showdown for 2 chefs: they will create their very own rival restaurants on a terrace of a stylish Manhattan hotel. The victor will take home $100,000 and be crowned the winner of Chef Race!
