Top chef Rosemary Shrager and expert baker John Whaite return to put more amateur cooks through their paces in a second series of Chopping Block.
In the first episode super competitive pals Phill and Liam catch Rosemary's attention – for both the wrong and right reasons – while vegetarian teaching assistant Joanne struggles with a chicken-based skills test. Meanwhile step siblings Hilal and Jevdet make a last-minute change to their recipe after overhearing some key advice from the judges.
Episode 2
It is culinary classics day and the three cooks must flex their 'mussels' as well as having to bake sixteen miniature Black Forest gateaux.
Episode 3
The three couples are challenged to master the art of spicing with a veggie curry, then tackle precision baking with John's tropical mango dessert.
Episode 4
It is elimination day and one couple's necks are on the chopping block. Standing between them and the prize are Rosemary's beef tournedos rossini with sweetbreads and John's tricky apple cider doughnuts.
Episode 5
It is the grand final and one couple will walk off with 1,000 pounds. All they have to do is butterfly and cook a whole trout with a selection of side dishes, then serve their own take on a nutty nougat.

Every day, the best couple win a prize, but only the most impressive cooks will walk away with 1,000 pounds at the end of the week. The rest end up on the Chopping Block! Rosemary and John welcome three couples to their cookery school. It is Family Favourites Day, and standing between them and the 1,000 pound prize is scampi and chips, with battenberg to follow.

The three competitive cooks must prepare, stuff and roast a perfect pork tenderloin then bake a stunning tarte tatin.
Episode 8
It is an Italian-inspired World Food Day at the cookery school. So what could be easier than a humble vegetarian risotto with artichokes, followed by faultless fruit and nut biscotti for afters?
Episode 9
It is Elimination Day and one couple's neck is on the chopping block. Getting everybody into a flap are three fiddly pheasants and John's own Mont Blanc biscuit butties. Who will go head to head for that cash prize?
Episode 10
It is the grand final and one couple will walk off with the cash prize. All they have to do is prepare and cook a whole rabbit plus a selection of sides, then serve up faultless baked Alaskas.
Episode 11
Rosemary and John open their doors to three new pairs of cooks on Family Favourites Day. Standing between them and that prize is a bowl of pasta, with jam tart and custard to follow.
Episode 12
It is Elimination Day and one couple's necks are on the chopping block. Getting everybody hot under the collar are John's oriental steamed buns and Rosemary's duck pancakes.
Episode 13
It is the Grand Final and one couple will walk off with the prize. All they have to do is fillet and cook a whole sea bass, then dazzle the judges with perfect passion fruit souffles.

Rosemary and John welcome three new couples for Family Favourites Day. Standing between them and the 1,000 pound prize is lamb flatbreads with dips then angel cake for pud.

It is Culinary Classics Day in John and Rosemary's cookery school, and the three competitive cooks must make a scintillating scallop starter followed by an eye-popping monster trifle.
Episode 16
Rosemary and John's World Food Day is inspired by all things French. But will the three culinary couples be able to impress the judges with a rack of pork with boulangere potatoes and a tricky meringue roulade au citron?
Episode 17
It is Elimination Day and one couple's neck is on the chopping block. Getting everybody's knickers in a twist is an octopus stir-fry and John's gluten-free, rose macarons. Who will go head to head for that cash jackpot?

It is the Grand Final and one couple will walk off with the prize. All they have to do is prepare and cook a perfect pigeon plus a selection of sides, then dish up some Portuguese tarts.
