Welcome to Kandahar
In the premiere of this medical procedural drama set in a military hospital in Afghanistan, doctors and nurses from allied countries provide surgical care to troops. First up: Maj. Gordon and Capt. Trang report for duty and deal with rocket attacks, flying shrapnel and waves of wounded troops.

Enemy Within
When the hospital has an outbreak of an unknown bacterial infection, the OR, ICU and recovery room are quarantined so doctors perform surgery in the dining hall. Meanwhile, Gordon and Pedersen encounter an emergency at a women's clinic off base.

It's My Party
Rebecca and Bobby operate on a severely wounded soldier, and the blood supply dwindles; Simon runs into an old flame, a photojournalist who sparks his interest anew; Marks names Rebecca as morale officer; and Vans discovers a new talent.

Wrong Place at the Right Time
A Romanian civilian suffers a brain hemorrhage and needs immediate neurosurgery, and Simon must talk Rebecca through the operation on a cell phone from a medevac helicopter; Bobby and Pedersen examine a high-ranking Air Force officer with insomnia who has an imminent critical mission.

Hells Bells
A civilian wedding party is caught in Taliban crossfire and treated at Role 3; Marks gets a troubling call from home and discusses it with Pedersen; and Rebecca and Bobby sit in on Pedersen's group-therapy session, and Rebecca wonders if she shared too much.

Inner Truth
A private serves as a lucky charm for seven wounded soldiers in his unit, who all survive their injuries without complications after he arrives. Elsewhere, Suzy Chao works with Bobby on his research and discovers his charms.

Reckless
Rebecca withholds treatment to a soldier, but she comes to doubt her decision during an investigation into the incident.

On the Brink
Bobby makes a controversial decision to try to save a patient at all costs, and that decision opens a rift between the doctors and the nurses at Role 3 Hospital.

Shifting Sands
Vans' friend is injured in an explosion, and allegiances are called into question.

Reason to Believe
A chaplain has a lapse of faith but is ordered to hold a vigil with Simon during a difficult surgery.

Brothers in Arms
Bobby loses his composure during a hockey game between the allied forces; a prank goes awry for Simon; and the investigation into a suicide bomber raises ethical questions for Pedersen.

Triage
Rebecca takes over triage when Col. Marks is injured in an explosion, and the situation leaves Rebecca with a judgment call to make.

Do No Harm
The women's clinic is attacked, and Major Samizay, Rebecca, Pedersen, Suzy and Pam find themselves besieged. Later, the Role 3 staff struggles to save the wounded assailant's life.
