Mark Chapman and Clare Balding present highlights from the opening day's action at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The host nation will have been hoping to get off to a medal-winning start with swimmer Michael Jamieson one of the Scottish stars competing on day one.
Another of the home nations' best hopes, Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee, would have been aiming for more success in the men's triathlon at Strathclyde Country Park, while there were also medals on offer in track cycling at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Day 2

Olympic star Jason Kenny will have been hoping for success at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome as some of the world's best cyclists battled it out to finish on the podium. Other medals on offer on day two included swimming, shooting and rhythmic gymnastics, while the home nations were in action in the early rounds of the netball and hockey competitions.

Day 3

Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee was hoping to inspire England to glory in triathlon's mixed team relay today.
In the pool, South Africa's Olympic champion Chad le Clos attempted to add the Commonwealth 200m butterfly title to the Olympic one he won in London, beating American legend Michael Phelps in the process.
With medals also on offer in track cycling at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and an England v Australia netball clash it's sure to be an action-packed round-up of the day's events.

Day 5

It was a day for the sprinters in Glasgow, with the men's and women's 100m titles decided.
England's reigning world indoor champion Richard Kilty was among the stars on show at Hampden Park while in the pool one of the stars of London 2012, South Africa's Chad le Clos, went for 100m butterfly gold.

Day 6

At the Hydro a thrilling day's gymnastics was in prospect with Great Britain's record-breaking London 2012 team - including an out-of-retirement Louis Smith - going head-to-head in the colours of England and Scotland.
In GB colours at London 2012 they won a first team gold in 100 years - today friendships were put to one side in the pursuit of Glasgow gold.
At Hampden Park there were medals galore on offer with England looking to repeat their 1-2-3 from Delhi in the men's 110m hurdles and the ever-impressive Kenyan women going for 10,000m gold.
In the pool, one of Wales' brightest hopes Jazz Carlin attempted to upgrade Delhi 400m freestyle bronze into Glasgow gold.

Day 7
Mark Chapman and Clare Balding present highlights from the seventh day of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
With Katarina Johnson-Thompson out of the heptathlon through injury, Canadian rival Brianne Theisen-Eaton will be the favourite at Hampden Park.
Meanwhile, Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams, the first woman to win a boxing gold at an Olympics, was fighting at the quarter-final stage of the women's flyweight.

Day 8

Paralympics gold medallist David 'The Weirwolf' Weir raced in the final of the T54 1500m, and David Rudisha of Kenya tried to repeat his Olympics win in the final of the men's 800m. Other athletes in action included Louis Smith in the gymnastics, Tiffany Porter in the women's 100m hurdles and Sir Bradley Wiggins in the track cycling.

Day 9

Day 10
Mark Chapman and Clare Balding present highlights from the penultimate day's action at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt was the star attraction of the day, attempting to lead Jamaica's all-conquering 4x100m relay team to yet another global title. Another face of the London 2012 games was Tom Daley and the Olympic bronze medallist was hoping to dive his way to Glasgow glory in the 10m individual platform.
Glasgow 2014 is the largest multi-sport event ever held in Scotland and features 17 different sports across the 11 days of competition.

Ironheart
Ironheart follows Riri Williams, a 15-year old engineering genius attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Riri builds a suit based on Iron Man's armor and takes up the name Ironheart.

Dark Matter
Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels of the decade, Dark Matter is a story about the road not taken.
