Las Vegas Heat 1 Part 2
After an autopsy discussion at the morgue, detectives plan to investigate stolen credit card use, to acquire video of the suspect. An undercover officer in a painter disguise acts as bait for theft and quickly has a person steal money. The police catch the thief as he threw the money down before arrest. Suspect has long rap sheet. Credit card usage video giving a good face image of the suspect that is now clean-shaven. A uniformed officer surprises a woman urinating under a crane truck. The detectives receive a tipline call of an informant that had contact with suspect and was asked to buy brand new pool cue sticks in a case, and when asked how he got them the suspect said he killed a guy for them. A man jaywalks dropping women's clothes that were probably shoplifted and had beer cans in a pocket and one in his underwear. Detectives search hotel room of the suspect for evidence and find bloody red shirt and the bartender's wallet with ID. The suspect appears before judge and pleads not guilty. The prosecution is seeking the death penalty.
