Adam informs Sarah of his kidnap ordeal while Damon pays his brother Harvey a visit in prison. Paul suffers a public embarrassment as Cassie continues to drive a wedge between the Websters.

Paul gets over a disappointment by enjoying a drinking session with David and Steve, Roy pushes Cassie to come clean to Kevin and Dee-Dee disapproves of Ed working with Damon.

Paul asks Todd and Abi to help him to die, Evelyn seeks proof of Terry's illegal dog breeding, Dev's plan for the twins' birthday fails to impress and Damon unwittingly places temptation in Ed's way.

Cassie's dogged pursuit of Terry lands her in a tight spot, and Sarah overhears Damon reverting to type. Paul and Billy attempt to matchmake Todd with Moses, Craig takes Evelyn in for questioning and Aadi and Nina comfort each other following rows with Amy and Asha.

Aadi and Nina confess their kiss to Asha, Cassie offers to buy Hope's silence, Sarah thrills Damon by inviting him for a drink and Carla tackles Bobby about his behaviour at work.

Daisy feels there's still a spark between her and Daniel after agreeing to look after Bertie for a few hours. A family liaison officer tells Nick that Harvey is planning an appeal after another man takes the blame for killing Natasha. Tracy breaks the news of her fling to Ken and Amy, while Tim tells Sally he wants Tommy gone out of loyalty to Steve. Sean makes Dylan promise to give up the names of the bullies.

Daisy is angry with Daniel for failing to warn her about the article. Nick tells Dee-Dee about Harvey's appeal and how worried he is for Sam's sake. Steve is intrigued to learn that Tommy has accepted a job as an assistant coach at a football academy in Spain. As things escalate fast, Dee-Dee's stunned by Joel's response when she demands he tells her everything... Meanwhile, Toyah takes Nick to her hospital appointment. Fiz is livid when Tyrone reveals he'd like Alina to move to Weatherfield. Not only that, but he's also splashed out on a pricey consultation with Adam about Dorin.

Alina's fear that she is being watched proves to be justified, and Sarah faces another grilling from Lisa. Dee-Dee braces herself for a difficult conversation with Emily, Daniel confides in Daisy that he does not trust Kit and Amy's decision to quit her job at the bistro delights Rowan.

Leanne is unnerved to notice Rowan recording Amy's upload session, Beth spots Kit in an incriminating situation and Betsy persuades Mason to skive off work to be with her.

But as he retraces his steps, Summer and Bernie are horrified to find Paul struggling to breathe on the sofa. Can Billy get back home in time? Nick reports Rowan to the police, while Leanne tells Amy she may have the evidence to recover her money.

Billy is hit with the sad reality of life without Paul, while tensions are high within his family as they grieve. Can they pull together to plan his funeral? Ruby and Dorin go missing while in Tyrone's care, Lisa seeks Craig's help in tracing one of Joel's victims and Nick delivers news concerning Rowan.

Billy encounters an unwelcome mourner at the church for Paul's funeral, Sarah is unimpressed by the cosmetic surgery clinic's financial offer, and Tyrone and Fiz are stunned when Hope defiantly admits to stealing a vape from the corner shop.

Bernie collects Paul's ashes ahead of the rave in his memory, Gail suggests selling her house to pay Bethany's medical bills, Carla receives a letter that upsets her, and Dee-Dee confronts Joel's dad.

Carla attends court, where she comes face to face with her victim's father, Tom - and back at the factory she takes her anger out on Betsy and Sally. Billy reads out Paul's wish list for his loved ones, David tells Shona that Gail has taken out a loan meaning she is now committed to selling the house, and Kit is horrified by what he finds on Joel's laptop.

Bethany returns from Turkey and is taken straight to hospital, where Sarah tells a guilt-ridden Daniel he is not welcome. Carla tells Lisa they need to talk and Eileen does not agree with Stu and Yasmeen giving Mason a chance. Gemma is touched when Chesney orders her to take the day off and put her feet up. Cassie makes Hope and Ruby promise to pull together for Fiz's sake.

The Platts are baffled by Jesse's arrival, so Shona urges Sarah and David to talk to him. Stu and Yasmeen receive a brick through their window. Adam confesses to Sarah that Damon offered to pay Bethany's medical bills. Hope's vaping habit ignites danger.

As Craig and Kit investigate Joel's whereabouts, three lads find a body floating in a nearby river. Daisy hears that Bethany has dumped Daniel, so she heads to the hospital to put her straight.
