Notting Hill residents Queen and Shawn kick off the competition with a menu inspired by their Thai and West Indian heritage. Well-travelled foodies Suzy and Paul are unimpressed with the food. Competitive couple Charlotte and Kevin throw themselves into the evening, but when one of the hosts reveals a dislike of West Londoners, the guests are left stunned. Day two sees sophisticated Suzy and Paul cooking up a fancy French feast, but the food does not go down well with Shawn who sees the evening as pretentious. The hosts' unusual artwork is a talking point. Finally it's fun-loving family couple Charlotte and Kevin's turn. Will their trendy Japanese menu be too pretentious for Shawn?
