In the first round, four talented cupcake designers are challenged to make succulent plants out of cupcakes, but things get prickly when one baker is eliminated by judges Nacho Aguirre, Amirah Kassem and Maureen McCormick. The three remaining competitors take on the delicacies of beautiful flower bouquet designs, with the winning display earning the baker the title of Cupcake Champion and a $10,000 grand prize!
Christmas in July
It's a showdown of Christmas cupcakes as four top bakers battle it out making edible snow globes. Judges Nacho Aguirre, Amirah Kassem and Maureen McCormick determine which cupcake designer goes home after the first round. The final three head to the attic for their favorite Christmas decorations and use them as inspiration to create a life-sized Christmas display out of cupcakes. In the end, one competitor gets to go home with an early Christmas present of $10,000.
Life with Molly Yeh
Gender reveal cupcakes are all the rage, so Food Network host and new mom Molly Yeh challenges four top cupcake designers to create their best revealing design! Judges Maureen McCormick, Gesine Prado and Joshua John Russell are on hand to determine which baker goes home after round one. Then the final three venture to a fantastical farm with their elaborate cupcake displays, and the judges determine which out-there design is worth the $10,000 prize.
Imposters
The cupcake competition kicks off as host Kardea Brown challenges four fantastic bakers to create detailed pet designs on their cupcakes. Every strand of fur, wrinkle and whisker must be perfect to win. Judges Lerome Campbell, Maureen McCormick and Gesine Prado decide which three move on to the final round, where the challenge is to create savory food imposters out of cupcakes. Whether they're replicating Asian, American or Italian cuisine, the bakers' cupcakes have to fool the judges' eyes into thinking they're eating the real thing! The baker with the best cupcake lookalike wins $10,000.
From Science Fiction to Just Plain Science
In the first round, four cupcake makers take a mystical journey by combining two mythical beings into a new creature. Judges Maureen McCormick, Stella Parks and Joshua John Russell decide whose mythical mashup cupcakes advance them to the championship round. The remaining three bakers then explore the cosmos by creating an entire planet out of cupcakes! From the moons of Jupiter to the icy rings of Saturn, these edible planetary displays must have every detail right to win the $10,000 prize.
