„ The vixen ", Anne Marie Fuchs ( Lina Wendel ), is late: her ex-husband Konrad Gelden is shot in his villa, the masked perpetrator flees from Anne's eyes. This shatters Anne's hope of solving the riddle about her son Florian's disappearance. He was kidnapped as a young boy almost 30 years ago to punish Anne for leaving the Stasi. Anne's business partner Youssef El Kili ( Karim Cherif ) uses the situation and gets a new order for the detective agency „ Fuchs & El Kili ": The search for Konrad Gelden's murderer. The client: Konrad Gelden's son Markus ( Martin Geisen ). Anne is electrified: Konrad Gelden has a son? This Markus is about as old as Florian would be now.
Are Markus and Florian perhaps identical? Youssef's wife Simone ( Jasmin Difficulties ) helps to check this. The investigation into Konrad's death leads Anne to her old companion Ruhleben ( Torsten Michaelis ). The owner of a security company had dubious business relationships with Konrad. When Anne manages to search Ruhlebens' office, she finds a crucial indication that her son Florian lives – differently than she has assumed for years. Youssef struggles to call Anne to order – after all, it is important to satisfy a paying customer and to determine for Markus Gelden who killed his father. When the detectives find the perpetrator, Anne makes a terrible discovery.
