Lost in the Dark
The case of 25 year-old college graduate Mitrice Richardson, whose semi-decomposed body was found close by a marijuana farm in the Santa Monica mountains in August 2010, a year after she had been reported missing.

The Soldier's Wife
The story of Bethany Decker, a National Guardsman's wife, who vanished while pregnant with her second child as her husband completed a tour of service in Afghanistan. Police discovered the 21-year-old's life was far more complicated than anyone realised.

The Dutchman's Curse
The story of Jesse Capen, a 35-year-old hotel worker from Denver, who disappeared in December 2009 after setting out on a month-long trek to find the Lost Dutchman's gold mine in the remote Superstition Mountains of Arizona. His remains were finally found wedged in an inaccessible crevasse four years later.

Dark Voyage
The case of 52-year-old Colleen Wood, who vanished in December 2000 shortly after planning a round-the-world sailing trip with her new partner, ex-racing driver and wealthy financier John Paul Sr. Her lover was questioned, but no charges were filed. Shortly afterwards he also disappeared.

One Way Ticket
The case of Hatice Corbacioglu, who vanished in June 2009 while visiting lover Riza Cosa in New York. The plot thickened when Cosa fled to his native Turkey and the body of his wife was was found stuffed in a bag in a New York steel factory where he had worked. A year later, in an apparent suicide, Cosa fell to his death from a tall building.

City of Angels
The case of 24-year-old aspiring Hollywood actress Satara Stratton, who vanished in November 2011, only to reappear four months later claiming she had been tortured and drugged by a registered sex offender.

Missing in the Mountains
Competitive runner Amy goes jogging in the mountains and never returns home. Where is Amy, and what does her jealous husband know about her disappearance?

Radio Silence
The case of 51-year-old park ranger James Morgenson, who vanished while on duty in July 1996. His remains were found nearly five years later when it was surmised he had fallen through a snow drift, dying of associated injuries and hypothermia. His remains were washed down a creek and into a small cascade where they remained hidden for some time.

A case involving the disappearance of two 16-year-old girls, where two serial killers separately confessed to their murders.

Breaking News
The case of TV news presenter Jodi Huisentruit, who went missing in June 1995. Outside her home in Iowa, officers found evidence of a struggle near her car, with some of her personal items - including her keys - found strewn in the vicinity.
