20-year-old Kira has a difficult fate: she lost her mother when she was very young, and later her father brought her stepmother into the house, with whom the girl's relationship did not work out. Kira works in a flower shop and lives in the house of her school teacher Taisiya Ivanovna, who treats the girl like her own. But soon Taisiya Ivanovna dies of a heart attack. The only close person for Kira is Maxim, from whom she is pregnant. But even here the girl faces a blow: she loses her child. In the hospital, after a difficult recovery, Kira accidentally learns about a baby who was abandoned by his own mother. She and Maxim adopt the baby, naming him Andrey. Kira does not know that this child, by an amazing coincidence, is the son of Dmitry, Taisiya Ivanovna's nephew. And that Andrey has a twin brother, Stas. Many years later, the brothers are destined to meet by chance... What awaits Kira and her baby? Will the father fight for his son?... What other trials will the main character face?... How will the meeting of separated brothers go?...
