Female Teachers Turned Classroom Predators
Dr. Phil talks with three young men who say they were sexually abused by their female teachers. Michael and Justin were just 17 and 16 when they say they were targeted, groomed, and then sexually assaulted by their 25-year-old teacher. They say it started with their teacher helping them with their homework, but it soon shifted to off-campus visits involving drugs and alcohol. Another victim, Mason who was only 11 years old when he was sexually assaulted by his married 35-year-old teacher. They are all joined by their attorneys, Zach Runyan and Jon Marko, who say they are disgusted by the actions of these teachers. They blame social media and the schools for not paying attention to the grooming going on behind these classroom doors. Christy Jack, a defense attorney who has represented dozens of teachers accused of sexual assault against a student, gives Dr. Phil her thoughts on why these teachers do what they do. One of Christy's clients, a former teacher who was convicted and served time in prison for her inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old student, opens up about what she did it.
