In Heysham, Lancashire, Mark helps create a maximalist-style bathroom on a £4,000 budget for Steph and Paul in their eight-bedroom Victorian property. Later, he meets Debi and Simon in Pershore in Worcestershire, who want to create a unique, all-glass 'spaceship" kitchen for £20,000.

Mark Millar helps couple Jackie and Kevin in Torquay in Devon create their ultimate luxury kitchen for £70,000. Mark relishes the chance to rip out the old kitchen in their home and give them a head start on the renovation, and shares his top tips on how to design the perfect island and what to consider when choosing seating. Elsewhere, Mark meets Andy and Caz from Doncaster, who want to create a stunning master suite with a dressing room and a separate bathroom, each leading off the main bedroom.

Mark meets an ex-army father of two who wants to create a £30,000 dream black-and white kitchen in Oldham, complete with posh island and bi-folding doors. Elsewhere in Northumberland, James and Helen have a budget of £6,000 to create a country-style spa bathroom which features bespoke vanity units and underfloor heating.

Mark Millar helps with two extreme renovations, the first a family in Nottinghamshire who want to create an opulent golden bathroom, and the second a total refurbishment in the West Midlands.
Episode 8
In this heritage special the DIY expert is in Dorset, helping a family who want to create two dream kitchens, one ancient and one modern, in their 500-year-old Tudor manor house. An old 1970s kitchen has been ripped out, and Giles wants to return the room back to its original state as a Tudor kitchen, complete with a restored huge arched fireplace, bread oven and an iron spit for roasting over an open fire. When choosing the style of the second, modern kitchen, Giles is keen to be sympathetic to the period property, hoping the brand new kitchen blends into this home steeped in history without ruining its period charm.

Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.

The series also showcases a unique additional challenge for the crew as the guests expect not only an adventure on the water but also underwater with scuba diving and other activities as some of the main attractions of the region.
