However, when a fatal attack is carried out on her shortly afterwards, the detectives realize that they have become embroiled in a deadly web of intrigue, power and betrayal, in which they themselves are in mortal danger...

A truck is spectacularly robbed at full speed. Friesland has been shaken by a series of mysterious robberies on transporters for some time. The team around Femke, Tjark and Ceylan are on the trail of the perpetrators and have to work together with their colleague Rena Fehmerling from the motorway police. When a shepherd, who suddenly witnessed the last robbery, takes the loot, he and his wife find themselves in the firing line of a dangerous network. When Tjark tries to save him, his past catches up with him again and he goes from being the hunter to the hunted.
