Tras los dos impactantes asesinatos con los que concluyó el capítulo anterior (desconocidos aún para el resto de alumnos y profesores), dos nuevas muertes elevan aún más la tensión en el colegio. En esta nueva entrega la audiencia verá morir a uno de los grandes protagonistas de la serie, presente desde el primer capítulo. Elsa se encuentra cada vez más débil. Lleva más de 48 horas enferma pues nunca llegó a tomar la medicina. Todo indica que será la primera víctima mortal del virus desde que empezó la cuarentena. Consciente de la gravedad de su situación, la directora del Laguna Negra se enfrenta con serenidad y valentía a las que cree que son sus últimas horas de vida. Fermín y Rebeca se infiltran con éxito en el campamento militar. Pronto localizan a Max, la única persona capaz de salvarles la vida, pero ¿cómo sacarle de allí? El mismo Max les hace ver que llevarle a él de vuelta al internado no servirá para nada si no consiguen también el material radioactivo necesario para hacer funcionar la máquina que les curará. Rubén hace correr la voz de que todos van a morir, desatando el pánico entre los alumnos del Laguna Negra: todos exigen salir de allí como sea y no atienden a razones. Alicia consigue apaciguar temporalmente la revuelta, pero Rubén no está dispuesto a quedarse de brazos cruzados: tiene un plan para escaparse. Marcos no dará crédito al descubrir que sus propios amigos están dispuestos a seguir a Rubén en su aventura. Jugando a 'beso, verdad o atrevimiento', Lucas confiesa su gran secreto: la niña que le gusta no es Evelyn sino Paula. Es más, una vez soñó que se besaba con ella y era un sueño 'de los que se cumplen'. Evelyn, resignada a que Lucas y Paula deben besarse, idea un plan para que el desafortunado encuentro se produzca una sola vez.
