07 15 24 35 44 57. Ésos son los números que hacen funcionar la máquina, los números que Max dio a Iván en el sueño y pueden salvarle la vida. Si eso no funciona ya todo estará perdido porque Max ha muerto a manos de Amaia, la última infiltrada de Ottox dentro del colegio. ¿Habrá sobrevivido Iván? Desde el campamento militar han podido ver el haz de luz que ha salido del colegio. Está claro que Amaia no cumplió con su misión de matar a Max o la llevó a cabo demasiado tarde. En cualquier caso, parece que la máquina funciona y, si realmente es así, los planes de la farmaceutica acaban de venirse abajo. Hugo tiene claro lo que tienen que hacer: si el virus no les mata, tendrán que hacerlo ellos. El método elegido será un cargamento de gas mortal. En el interior del colegio, son conscientes de que los militares han descubierto que la máquina que les puede curar funciona, y deciden huir inmediatamente, pero ¿cómo hacerlo? Si se acercan a la valla les dispararán, además del riesgo que supone pisar una de las minas. Su única posibilidad es utilizar los pasadizos. Martín, Alicia y Fermín han pensado un plan de huída por los pasadizos que puede funcionar. No saben que con el Teniente Garrido entre ellos, caminan directos hacia su propio exterminio. Mientras tanto, ignorantes por completo de los planes de los militares y los de los habitantes del colegio, Samuel e Irene, los hermanos Espí intentarán llegar al internado para reencontrarse con Marcos, Paula y el pequeño Samuel.
