Fairy Tail - Season 3

Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Elfman, Cana, Fried, Levy, and Mystogan's disciple Mest are selected to participate in Fairy Tail's annual S-Class promotion exam, and are instructed to choose a partner to accompany them during the exam.

The exam participants arrive at Sirius Island, Fairy Tail's sacred ground, where they each take one of eight routes that will lead to the next stage of the exam. Most of these routes either pit the participants against each other or one of Fairy Tail's S-Class wizards, who they must defeat in order to advance.

Juvia and Lisanna are pitted against Erza, while Elfman and Evergreen are pitted against Mirajane. Meanwhile, Natsu enthusiastically fights Gildarts, with a series of flashbacks detailing how Natsu had never once been able to defeat him since childhood.

Guild members begin to wonder about Mest, who has a peculiar place in their memories. Meanwhile, only five duos are left in the exam as the second trial begins and the wizards are tasked with finding the grave of Fairy Tail's founding guild master.

Natsu attacks the black-haired youth to no effect, causing the youth to despair that Natsu is not strong enough to defeat him. The youth unleashes another wave of deadly magic against Natsu and disappears, but Natsu is protected from the attack by his scarf, which turns black.

Gajeel and Levy fight Kawazu and Yomazu, who reveal that they are scouting the island to kill the Fairy Tail wizards. Though seriously wounded, Gajeel sends Levy to warn their guildmates of Grimoire Heart's attack.

While being interrogated, Mest rescues Wendy from an attack by Azuma, one of the Seven Kin. Mest reveals himself to be a Magic Council agent named Doranbalt, sent to search for incriminating evidence against Fairy Tail and disband it.

Makarov is defeated and gravely wounded in his battle against Hades, which is sensed by the wandering Laxus. Meanwhile, the other members of Fairy Tail battle Grimoire Heart's army.

Natsu is overwhelmed by Zancrow's God Slayer magic, which proves superior to his own Dragon Slayer magic.

Azuma learns of Mirajane's former identity as the "Demon" and straps Lisanna to a time bomb so he can fight Mirajane at full strength.

Elfman and Evergreen are overwhelmed and defeated by Rustyrose's Arc of Incarnation, which gives him the power to create anything from his imagination. Meanwhile, Loke realizes Caprico is the celestial spirit Capricorn, and that he has the power to take control of humans.

Caprico reveals himself to be a human named Zoldio who fused with Capricorn using his Human Subordination magic. He possesses Loke, but Loke gives his Regulus ring to the newly freed Capricorn.

Lucy and Hikaru's battle interrupts Natsu's battle with Ultear, leading Natsu to help Lucy and reform their old team while Ultear leaves with Zeref.

Doranbalt tries to help Natsu and his friends evacuate the island as the Magic Council plans to fire Etherion once again, but they refuse to leave. Meanwhile, Juvia is nearly defeated during her and Erza's battle against Merudy of the Seven Kin.

When Gray, Juvia, and a Grimoire Heart wizard are linked together by a dark magic, one wrong move could mean the death of all three of them. Meanwhile, Ultear's past is revealed as she confronts Gray--the one she holds responsible for her mother's death.

Cana discovers the grave of Mavis, Fairy Tail's founding master. After thinking about her troubled past--and connection the Gildarts--she receives the powerful spell Fairy Glitter. But even this magic might not be enough to take out Grimoire Heart.

The guild continues to take on the members of Grimoire Heart as Erza goes head-to-head with Azuma. But when the dark wizard becomes one with the island flora, a secret magic is revealed and the island itself falls into peril.

With all the magic suddenly drained from their bodies, the wizards of Fairy Tail are powerless against their enemies. Their lives depend on one guild mate--Erza--but even she might not have the strength to save them.

The battle against Grimoire Heart continues as everyone's power suddenly returns! Gray vows to stop the dark guild using Iced Shell--sacrificing himself in the process--at the suggestion of Ultear, his former-teacher's daughter.

After confirming her treachery, Gray take on Ultear, channeling the memory of his former teacher in a dangerous attempt to defeat the time-altering wizard. But as Ultear's history comes to light, it's more complicated than even she realizes.

The guild splits up into teams in order to strike back against Grimoire Heart, taking the fight straight to Hades. Elsewhere on the island, Zeref's power is unleashed, taking out members from both sides of the battle.

Several members of the Dark Guild Grimoire Heart are back for revenge after their magic power has restored, and they're after the wounded Fairy Tail members. The remaining Fairy Tail members will have to hold them off if they are to protect their friends. Meanwhile Laxus does battle with Grimoire Hearts master Hades.

The Fairy Tail members left at the camp deal with the remaining Grimoire Heart forces. At the same time, Natsu uses the magical powers of Laxus battle Hades once again. Thunder-Fire dragon hunter versus Grimoire Heart's master.

Even after Natsu wasn't able to defeat Master Hades using his own powers and the powers leant to him by Laxus, the Fairy Tail members won't give up without a final fight. While Master Hades pulls out all the stops, Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Grey and Wendy face him head-on with no magical powers left. In meantime, Happy, Carla and Lilly have found the actual beating Devil's Heart inside the ship.

The battle between Fairy Tail and the dark guild Grimoire Heart has come to it's conclusion and as the dust settles Fairy Tail members are left to wonder: what of the S-Class exam? Even though she hasn't made S-Class yet, Cana decides to tell Gildarts the truth about who she is. And the fleeing Grimoire Heart members encounter Zeref on their ship.

The Fairy Tail's members on Tenrou Island can't even catch their breath after winning the all-out war with the dark guild Grimoire Heart as the ancient and mysterious dragon Acnologia suddenly appears above Tenrou Island. Gildarts, having faced the dragon before and barely escaping it with his life, warns his fellow members that this dragon is an enemy of humanity.

Seven years have passed since Acnologia attacked and destroyed Tenrou Island. The Fairy Tail members that were present haven't been seen since and in their absence the strongest guild on Earth and it's members have been through a lot of changes.

The Fairy Tail members that went missing on Tenrou Island 7 years ago are back. But a lot has changed in 7 years, and picking up where they left off will not be so easy.

Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Erza, Grey, Wendy and Carla go on a mission that requires them to go to an elegant ball for mages to capture jewel thief.

Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Wendy and Carla are looking for an easy score when they take a mission to protect cargo travelling 6 hours by train for potential thieves. But when the weird gang of thieves actually strike, Natsu is down for the count due to motion sickness and Lucy, Happy and Carla aren't of much help either. That just leaves Wendy...

Lucy uses a 7 year old potion whilst taking a bath. But it seems that 7 years is a lot, even for a magic potion, and the effect turns Lucy invisible. Fun at first, it puts her in quite the predicament and she hopes her fellow Fairy Tail members can help her turn back to normal.

Everyone in the guild is surprised when suddenly Michelle, a relative of Lucy appears, carrying a mysterious memento of Lucy's father. Michelle is invited to stay at the guild for a while and joins Team Natsu on a simple quest.

Natsu and Gajeel challenge Laxus to a duel. The guild and the town of Magnolia immediately organise an entire festival around the event, since it has been seven years something noteworthy like that has happened. Even though Natsu and Gajeel have increased in power since their last encounter with Laxus, it might not be enough to defeat the former S-Class Fairy Tail wizard.

After the duel between Natsu and Laxus, Fairy Tail members return to the Guild only to encounter three mysterious wizards there. The wizards, who are the Earthland counterparts of Edolas' Coco, Sugar boy and Hughes, are demanding that the guild hands over Lucy Heartfilia.

The battle between Earthland's Sugar boy, Hughes, Coco and Fairy Tail rages on. Meanwhile Gildarts faces off with Earthland's Byro, where he finds out that Fairy Tail is facing a secret mage order called the Legion Corps.

As the dust settles and Fairy Tail recovers from their kind-of-a-defeat by the hand of the Legion, Team Natsu decides they won't give up so easily and head to the Heartfilia mansion to search for clues concerning the clock hand that the Legion stole from Lucy.

By studying the book from the Heartfilia library, Lucy discovers that there are five more clock pieces hidden throughout the world. Fairy Tail splits up to hunt them down before the Legion can, and the groups run into strange characters on the road.

Natus and Lucy's expedition team discovers a strange gateway in the middle of the desert that leads to a dangerous underground dungeon. Elsewhere, Gray's team discovers a puzzle-filled cave--and Sugar Boy.

Natsu team runs into two members of the Legion Corps in the underground dungeon. Lucy gets shrunk, Happy becomes a giant, and the only way for the wizards to prevail might be through really bad smells and...marriage?!

The Butt Jiggle Gang is back and they're dead-set on finding one of the mysterious clock parts before Fairy Tail does. In order to get ahead of them, Erza dons one of their skintight black uniforms and teaches them the meaning of true villainy.

As the Fairy Tail expedition teams continue to discover clock components, Legion Corps ramps up its assault against the guild. When Samuel and Pantherlily go head to head, it's an Exceed battle like the wizards have never seen before.

One of Legion's members manages to separate Mirajane's demon form from her body and uses it to attack the wizard's family! Meanwhile, the secret order's crusade finally comes to light along with the terrifying truth behind the infinity clock.

Natsu's team of wizards goes head-to-head with Byro, a powerful adversary with the power to nullify magic attacks. Elsewhere, the members of Zentopia grow restless as the Archbishop's condition continues to worsen.

One of Fairy Tail's most powerful enemies--Oracion Seis--has been reborn, and the members are now deadlier than ever. When they show up demanding the Infinity Clock, will anyone be able to stand in their way?

As Fairy Tail recovers from their encounter with the new Oracian Seis, Kinana enters a trance-like state and carves something in an ancient language into the walls of the guild. Meanwhile, the Legion Platoon gets a strange new member.

Lahar tracks down a jaded Doranbolt--who now goes by Mest--at a pub, Laki and Gildarts discover a creepy set of nuns, and Fairy Tail's newest teams face off against members of the new Oracion Seis (along with some members of the Legion Platoon).

As Fairy Tail and Legion Platoon wizards face off with members of the reborn Oracion Seis, Mest and Lahar discover a Celestial Wizard named Katja who has important information about Zentopia--and a connection to Will Neville.

Now that it's been confirmed the new Oración Seis is actually targeting select Celestial Wizards and not churches, the truth about Michelle is revealed. As the Infinity Clock begins to work, it's catastrophic magic blackens the sky.

Archaeologists show up at the guild's headquarters with background on Jude Heartfilia and the Infinity Clock--as well as a powerful evil-vanquishing hammer. Meanwhile, Natsu tries to escape a magical prison with the help of...the Butt Jiggle Gang?!

As the Infinity Clock's powers begin to activate, the world descends into chaos. Fairy Tail's special team heads to the Infinity Clock, where Lucy is being prepared as a sacrifice. Meanwhile, the deep corruption within Zentopia is finally exposed.

The Legion Platoon turns their sights on Lucy, vowing to destroy her in order to save the rest of the world from the Infinity Clock. As Wendy tries to heal the Archbishop, Happy comes up with a plan that could save Lucy, but time is running out.

The Infinity Clock's magic continues to wreak havoc on the world as a handful of Fairy Tail wizards make a last-chance effort to save Lucy and stop the Real Nightmare. Four members of Oración Seis must be defeated, but can Gray defeat a host of angels?

Three dark wizards must be defeated to save the world, but Lucy's body has almost completely merged with the Infinity Clock. When the Archbishop wakes, he's able to explain how the clock operates, and how Fairy Tail might stall the Real Nightmare.

As Lucy becomes one with the Infinity Clock, she finds herself floating in a realm of memories. There, she comes to terms with who--or what--Michelle is, and the role the girl played in her past. In the end, they may be the only ones able to save the world.
