Die Feuerwehrleute werden zu einem Brand gerufen. Dunkle Rauchschwaden kommen aus einer Kneipe. Befinden sich noch Menschen im Gebäude? Wie groß ist die Gefahr für die Bewohner:innen in den umliegenden Wohnungen? Die Einsatzkräfte der Feuerwehr Bochum wurden 50 Tage am Stück und 24 Stunden am Tag bei ihrem aufreibenden Berufsalltag begleitet. Dabei sind sechs packende Folgen voller Spannung und Emotionen entstanden. Professionell, menschlich und miteinander versuchen die "Helden und Heldinnen von nebenan" zu helfen.
