In the fifth episode of the third season of Fire & Flame, the fire department is alerted in the middle of the night: a smoke alarm beeps. The high-altitude rescue team, a special unit of the fire department, has a training scenario with the trainees on the agenda. An elderly woman also complains of heart palpitations and shortness of breath. Bochum city center: In the middle of the night, a resident calls the fire department. The smoke alarm beeps in the apartment next door and he smells burning outside the apartment door. The firefighters have to hurry because they suspect that there is still someone in the apartment. The high-altitude rescuers, a special unit of the fire department, have training sessions every week, this time together with the trainees. The training scenario: A person has injured himself while working at a dizzying height and needs to be rescued. At an S-Bahn station in Langendreer, several schoolchildren are stuck in an elevator and a car is fully ablaze.
