Police special Martin tracks down a man accused of assault, but will he make his first arrest? Lifeboat recruit Dave is scrambled to a mayday, and a sinking boat's crew urgently need his help. And new paramedicKelly is called to a motorcyclist who has smashed into a van. Leaking petrol could ignite at any moment - can Kelly treat the biker's suspected broken back before it's too late?

Paramedic recruit Julie calls on all her training to save the life of a patient who can barely breathe. Mountain rescue volunteer Phil discovers what can go wrong when trying to save lives on a steep summit. And dairy farmer by day, unpaid police special by night - Andy's quick thinking helps fire crews extract a man after a serious car crash.

Rookie paramedic Ben is faced with the kind of job even experienced colleagues dread - a seriously ill child. Fire recruit Ian is sent into a burning building to search for casualties. And police special Amberinvestigates a violent assault, but it is a challenge when the teenage victim refuses to identify his attackers.

Rookie paramedic Kelly's training is put to the test when she attends to a child whose life is on the line. Police special Laurence has a busy first shift when he responds to an allegation of domestic assault. And mountain rescue recruit Tom is called to a seriously injured walker on a remote hillside.
Episode 6
Police special Sarah hunts for stolen property and makes an alarming discovery. Feeling the heat, rookie firefighter Helen faces one of her toughest tests. And new paramedic Sam has to act quickly to save the life of a six-year-old boy with a nut allergy when he goes into anaphylactic shock.
Episode 7
Rookie paramedic Ben's blue lights are on as he races to treat a man seriously wounded by a chainsaw. Police special Martin spots a car being driven recklessly and starts his first high-speed pursuit. AndChris's mountain rescue skills are needed to save a stranded fisherman with a broken leg in a fast-flowing river. It becomes a demanding and dangerous casualty evacuation.

New paramedic Mark is faced with a patient with multiple sclerosis whose life is on the line. Police special Amber cuffs a suspected shoplifter, and when a report comes in that a holidaymaker's jet ski has broken down at sea, can lifeboat recruit Harry find him before nightfall?
Episode 9
When new fire recruit Brendan smells smoke, he gets to smash down his first front door. When a pensioner's life rests in paramedic Sam's hands, the 22-year-old's training is put to the ultimate test. And forvolunteer police special Beccy the cuffs are out, as she makes her first arrests after catching burglars red-handed.

When a house party becomes violent, police special Laurence has to call on his training to restrain an aggressive suspect. New paramedic Maya braves motorway traffic to save a seriously ill driver parkedperilously on the hard shoulder. And there is a high-altitude emergency as mountain rescue rookie Tom helps an elderly walker injured high on a hillside.

Fire recruit Brendan attends his first road traffic collision, and cuts free a seriously injured driver from a mangled car. Unpaid police special Sarah puts her own safety on the line when her colleagues come under attack. And paramedic Ben rushes to treat an elderly lady whose heart hits a life-threatening 160 beats per minute.

Fire service rookie Lianne responds to a 999 emergency - a reported blaze in a block of flats. Police special Beccy busts a drug user who is suspected of having a cannabis farm in his shed. And paramedic Juliegets stuck ten floors up - an immobile patient with a suspected broken back leaves the rookie with a tough decision.
Episode 13
Police special Amber sends in the dogs to help bust a suspected drug dealer. Lifeboat recruit Gary joins a life-or-death mission as a fishing boat sinks in freezing water. And when a woman's waters break, rookie paramedic Sam races to help - but can he get her to hospital before her baby is born?
Episode 14
Hairdresser-turned-firefighter Helen faces her first blaze - a warehouse has gone up in flames, and she is in charge of the hose. Elsewhere, no amount of training can prepare rookie paramedic Maya for the mostdistressing call in her new career. And when a man is suspected of beating his girlfriend, police special Sarah steps in and makes an arrest.
Episode 15
A man flung into the air after being hit by a car relies on rookie paramedics Sam and Ben to treat his badly injured back. Police special Laurence chases down dangerous drivers and issues his first ticket. And lifeboat recruit Laura's training exercise leaves her seasick - but when a boat starts to sink she is quick to make sure no crew are trapped underwater.
