On Day 1, Leanne vanishes while taking Ethan and Rosie to see their great-grandfather. The police begin to look for clues, only to discover that the children are missing, too.
Day 3
On Day 3, Matt is reluctant to speak about his wife's disappearance to the press, who are beginning to gain the upper hand on the police with their own probes. Meanwhile, Hazel worries that Kyle may be involved in the case.
Day 28
Day 28 is Matt's birthday, but he finds little reason to celebrate after the police categorize Leanne's disappearance as a murder, a decision that Barclay has difficulty explaining to his superiors.
Day 33
On Day 33, Matt takes the kids to a carnival as a distraction from their grief, but a gruesome discovery in a lake opens a new chapter in the investigation. Meanwhile, Tanya begs her father to take her back to France with him, and John and Barbara grow more concerned about Ethan and Rosie's welfare.
Day 79
On Day 79, Amy unwinds at her retirement party as Barclay awaits the results of a forensics test that could lead to a break in the case of Leanne's death. Meanwhile, Kyle escapes from custody and Barbara tries to pick up the pieces of her family's shattered lives.
