Brazilian Grand Prix Qualifying Highlights
Steve Jones presents highlights of Qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix, the penultimate round of the 2016 Formula 1 season. Interlagos in Sao Paulo has been the site of some crucial races in the past and this year looks to be no exception as the intense battle between Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg approaches its dramatic climax. Back-to-back wins for Hamilton in the United States and Mexico mean that the rivals head to Brazil with Rosberg's lead reduced to 19 points with 50 remaining. The track packs in plenty of drama and overtaking is difficult, so qualifying is crucial. It was Rosberg who took pole position here in 2015 and went on to win the race ahead of Hamilton, who had already secured his third World Title. However, it is one of the few wins missing from Hamilton's CV and he will be need to beat his teammate to keep his Championship hopes alive.

Interlagos has been the setting for many title deciders over the past decade and this year is no exception as Mercedes rivals Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg continue their intense battle for the biggest prize in motor racing. Championship leader Rosberg has seen his lead reduced to 19 points with 50 remaining following back-to-back victories in the United States and Mexico for a resurgent Hamilton. However, Hamilton has never won in Brazil and it was Rosberg who took victory last year, winning from start to finish ahead of his team mate, who had already secured his third title.
