Season 1
Episodes
Episode 1
Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson say goodbye to the summer and welcome in the autumn with all the week's action from Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire. Rob and Dave welcome Orchid the Shire horse back home after her spell at a nearby stud farm. Having mastered the art of farming, the brothers are then challenged to show off their artistic flair in a very special watercolour challenge. Away from the farm, with the harvest season in full swing, pop star-turned-pig farmer JB Gill travels to the largest greenhouse complex in the UK in the hope of picking a red pepper or two.
Episode 2
Farmers Rob and Dave welcome some rare breed sheep to their ever-extending flock - and face a race against time to keep a newborn alpaca alive and kicking. Plus, Clifford the hairy mangalitsa pig is moved to his new `forever home" on a West Yorkshire rescue farm, and cameras catch up with the family whose members have taken the phrase `farm to fork" in a very literal sense.
Episode 3
Farmers Rob and Dave deal with some rather troublesome llamas who need their vaccinations, it's the moment of truth for Orchid the Shire Horse when the vet is called in to see if she's in foal, and it's harvest time in Barnsley when the duo lend a hand on their neighbour's farm. Plus, JB Gill volunteers for a particularly messy job when he visits rescue farmer Jake Ratcliffe in West Yorkshire.
Halloween on the Farm
Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson present a Halloween-themed episode, in which Rob and Dave take a trip to Warwickshire to stock up on pumpkins ahead of a carving contest in Barnsley. Peter Wright heads to Kent for seasonal hop picking, and JB Gill gets some tips on growing habanero chillies in the UK. A teenage shepherd provides some tips on sheepdog training.
Episode 5
Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson look at life on Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire as two lucky rams are shipped in to help the Nicholson's ewes get in the mood for love. Dad Roger comes to the rescue when a flock of orphan ducks need a helping hand and brothers Rob and Dave really feel the heat when they try their hands at being blacksmiths for the day. Plus, JB Gill finds out about a brand-new variety of apple that's being harvested on a farm in Kent.
Episode 6
Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson present a final look at life on Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire. Farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson call in an expert hoof trimmer to prepare their Highland cows for an indoor winter, go head to head in a traditional horse-drawn ploughing contest, and get a helping hand when it comes to creating novel ways to keep the farm's pigs entertained. Elsewhere, JB Gill visits a Surrey vineyard that produces an English sparkling wine to rival traditional French Champagnes.
