The Friedmanns' life is more than turbulent; Mischko and Emma have their hands full with their three children. But suddenly a world comes crashing down for the family when Emma dies in a tragic accident.
Mayas Absturz
After Emma's death, each of the Friedmanns escapes the pain in their own way, and Maya threatens to slip into disaster in the process. Mischko realises that his wife has taken a secret to the grave.

Mischko tracks down Emma's secret and makes a dramatic discovery. And while Carla and Maya are threatened with being thrown out of school, Tilda fights with her leading man and for her play.

Tilda is determined to help Rokko out of a jam. During a breakneck action she confesses her love for him. Mishko has trouble with Korbinian and must prevent him and Maya from getting too close... unfortunately without success.

Mishko is worried because Tilda is now with Rokko. He finds out how she wanted to take Rokko out of the line of fire of unscrupulous gangsters. To protect his daughter, Mishko makes a momentous decision.
Love Hurts
Mishko gets Rokko to end his relationship with Tilda, breaking her heart. Maya secretly seeks closeness to the more mature Korbinian and Carl fears that his best buddy Benno might have fallen in love with him.

It's all over between Tilda and Rokko. Until they accidentally get locked in the school basement. While Mischko finally has fun again with Niko on a child-free camping trip, the bomb bursts between Maya and Korbinian.
