Landfluchten
Enno Redenius is found murdered in his yard. For the Leeran police, the question arises as to who might be interested in the death of the founder of a citizens' initiative. The initiative is against increasing the holiday home quota and for affordable housing in the region. The protests seem to be a thorn in the side of the up-and-coming member of the state parliament Imke Claasen. Both her assistant Luis and her mother Henriette suffer from Imke's moods. After Redenius ' death, the young activist Nele Hinrichs takes over the leadership of the citizens' initiative. As the police officers Süher Özlügül and Henk Cassens find out, she did not always agree with the founder of the group. With his granddaughter Tina, Enno Redenius was apparently also in the permanent clinch.
And even a farmer Dirk Poppinga, the victim's neighbor, does not seem to be well talking about him due to past events. The numerous suspects puzzled Chief Criminal Commissioner Brockhorst and his two police officers. It is very convenient for them that pharmacist Insa Scherzinger can give valuable information about a possible instrument of action based on the victim's injuries. Meanwhile, undertaker Wolfgang Habedank is targeted by an unscrupulous architect who wants to make an immoral deal with him in order to get explosive information about potential holiday properties. Süher's brother Yunus is also in the Bredouille because the house in which he lives for rent is to be converted into such a holiday home. That is why he is desperately looking for a new place to stay.
