Starring Antonio Banderas in the second season of the 10-episode National Geographic Emmy-nominated Genius, he explores how the Spanish artist's passionate personality and relentless creative energy were inextricably linked to his personal life, including his turbulent marriages, numerous romances and ever-changing political and personal alliances.

After WWII, Picasso joins the Communist Party. He is haunted by a tragic love affair.

Pablo meets his first wife, a ballerina, while designing a ballet. Older Picasso (Antonio Banderas) struggles to manage his complex family.
Picasso: Chapter Nine
Franoise Gilot defies Picasso (Antonio Banderas) and pursues her artistic goals. Meanwhile a young Dora Maar strives to meet Picasso.
Picasso: Chapter Ten
After Franoise leaves him, Picasso withdraws from society to create the perfect painting.
