Aled is going back to the 1990s to meet one of the original Calendar Girls, whose devastating loss became the inspiration for the world-famous nude WI calendar and global blockbuster film, raising millions for charity. On their journey, they meet a young woman who lost her own husband in tragically similar circumstances. Will the Calendar Girl be inspired to give a gift of a lifetime to the young widow?

Aled meets two brothers who became orphaned when they tragically lost their parents in the Boxing Day tsunami, but now run a multi-million pound clothing brand. The brothers go back to 2004 and the heartbreaking day the waves stole their mum and dad, leaving them stranded thousands of miles from home. On their journey, they meet two teenage boys with remarkable parallels to their story, who have recently suffered a devastating loss. Will they be able to give them a gift that will truly change their lives?

Aled meets a remarkable RAF hero who overcame extraordinary setbacks and disability to become an elite fighter jet pilot. In a remarkable journey full of surprises, the pilot is reunited with the wing commander who changed the course of his life. Aled travels to Northern Ireland to meet a father and daughter who suffered heartbreaking loss in the Omagh bombing, revisiting the fateful day back in August 1998 when they tragically lost their beloved brother and son. On the journey, the family meet a courageous young girl traumatised by a beach terror attack in Tunisia. Will they be able to help her with a life-changing gift?

Aled goes back to August 2011, to meet a man whose family furniture business was razed to the ground in the London riots. On his journey, he uncovers some shocking family secrets about his great-great-grandfather who founded the shop and meets an extraordinary woman who was one of the broom army that helped clean up the streets after the riots. Can he find a way to say thank to this remarkable woman who does so much for her community with a generous gift of a lifetime?
