But a busy check-in day can test even the most enthusiastic of workers. Queues build and a lorry crashes into the automatic barriers. Can the team avoid failing at the first hurdle? Meanwhile, we visit former park entertainer Matt in his new role as general manager of north Cornwall's Widemouth Fields caravan park. But with great power comes great responsibility, and Matt has decided to give the old reception a major facelift. Meanwhile, at Crealy Park in Devon, new entertainment boss Graham has got big plans to shake up the park's bingo nights. He's asked his new righthand man Boston to take the traditional offering, so beloved by the regulars, to a whole new ‘bonkers' level. But with confetti cannons, fancy dress chickens and everything dialled up to eleven, have Graham and Boston gone too far? In Welcome Family Holiday Park at Dawlish Warren in Devon, showtime is approaching for entertainment head Mark and his gang. But the sudden departure of a team member has turned their tightly rehearsed routines upside down. They're all under pressure, and the spotlight is falling on new girl Lottie in her first professional job. Last minute, Mark turns up the temperature with a marathon entertainment evening for his worthy guests — but can his crew take the heat?

Some of them are lone wolves; others have their families beside them. All must overcome despairing odds to brave the wild and survive through to the spring. Only the mentally fit will be able to endure the extreme test of isolation and endless work required to survive the many months of winter in the Alaska bush.
